This is very typical of Cyndi to mention me -- she is just as nice as you think she is. When I first went to her apartment to start working on the book, she answered the door in a Chinese robe and lady bug slippers. "Hiya, kid," she said. Then I followed her into her kitchen, where she was in the middle of making coffee for her doorman (not something that most famous people would take the time to do.)
Anyway, the book is out September 18 and it has been a fantastic experience. Her life story reads like a novel that you can't put down.
