jancee, you've probably been to austin before, but i gotta represent ATX and give you some foodie tips! i can tell you right now that you have GOT to eat at uchi. AMAZING. also, since i know you like food trucks, you should check out torchy's tacos at the trailer park on south first (and there's a dessert truck too! with cakeballs!). or if you're near 6th street, the bestwurst stand is DELISH (just watch out for the crazytown drunk people). if you're downtown at all, you will not be disappointed with parkside (amazing mac & cheese! and donut holes!!) and annies (insanely delicious cocktails). ok now i'm, like, STARVING.
Okay, I'm hitting every one of those places. I've never been to Austin, believe it or not, so thank you so much. I'm not even entirely sure what a cake ball is, but I do know I must have it.
